LiTHIUM BALANCE was founded in 2006 as an ambitious start-up at the Danish Technological Institute. From the very beginning we were determined to push the battery-based electrification technology forward by developing, manufacturing and selling Battery Management Systems (BMS) for lithium ion battery technologies.

Lars joined LiTHIUM BALANCE in December 2007 as Chief Executive Officer. He has years of executive experience from large Danish electronics and software companies. Before joining LiTHIUM BALANCE, Lars was VP Technology and Marketing in Brüel & Kjær, a renowned company in sound and vibration measurement equipment for the automotive, aerospace and environmental markets. Prior to joining Brüel & Kjær in 2001, Lars held a number of management positions in the Danish medical instrumentation company, Radiometer Medical A/S. This included a period as Marketing Director at Radiometer America Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio.
Kasper was one of the first to join LiTHIUM BALANCE in 2008. Previously, he held positions as VP of Customer and Sales Support at FOSS Analytical, Sales Support Manager at Brüel & Kjaer Sound and Vibration and Purchasing Manager at LEGO. Combined, he has more than 20 years of experience in management positions at market leading international companies.
Claus joined LiTHIUM BALANCE in 2016 as Director of R&D. He contributes to LiTHIUM BALANCE with his extensive experience in R&D management and innovation in the telecom, sensor and energy businesses. Prior to LiTHIUM BALANCE, Claus headed development projects at Haldor Topsøe – a leading company within the fields of fuel cells and energy storage for both stationary & mobile applications. Claus has more than 20 years of experience in cooperation between private companies, universities and funding organizations.
Heidi joined the company in November 2010. She previously had a long career in the Rockwool group. She worked at Rockfon A/S from 1998 to 2007 in both sales/customer service positions, and as Section Manager Export. Rockfon develops and sells integrated ceiling solutions that provide a better and safer indoor environment. From 2007 to 2010, she was employed within the Danish building materials company, Rockwool International A/S as Category Manager.
Lars joined the company May 2018. Lars has held several management and senior management positions at Dan Fysik and Siemens Health Care. Dan Fysik deliver turn key particle accelerator solutions for medical and scientific purposes.
