Copenhagen, Denmark, August 14, 2025 – Lithium Balance is pleased to announce the continued availability of its Battery Management Systems under the ownership of Lithium Balance A/S, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Originally founded in 2006 as an ambitious startup at the Danish Technological Institute, Lithium Balance grew to be a key global supplier of BMS and was acquired by Sensata Technologies in 2021. Carrying on the operational excellence and established processes of a global corporate, Lithium Balance now sets off to continue a nearly twenty-year long legacy of market leading BMS technology.

All assets, technologies, knowledge, IPs, manufacturing, suppliers, and key personnel have been secured and will be preserved; therefore, operations will continue with minimal disruption.
All BMS products that customers have been using with trust will continue to be available through Lithium Balance A/S, unchanged and continuously improved.

Lithium Balance is working actively to ensure all administrative and background works required for operations are taken care of within a short timeframe. New orders will be possible to be placed for Lithium Balance BMS from September 2025, with deliveries starting in late October / early November.

“While backed by strong strategic investors, we managed to maintain the ability to operate with a higher degree of autonomy than ever before. Combined with the agility we gain as an independent global supplier of BMS, this will enable us to significantly enhance customer experience and operational efficiency,”

commented Stephen Millen, Chief Executive Officer of Lithium Balance.

“Close collaboration and exceptional support for our customers and business partners have always been instrumental for Lithium Balance’s growth. We are all excited to bring renewed focus on these and ensure continuity for one of the most important key components in our customers’ batteries,”

Klaus Corell-Kramer, Head of Sales added.
